Сounsel Maxim Dogonkin is promoted to partnership

We are glad to announce that counsel Maxim Dogonkin has been promoted to the partnership, effective from 1 February 2024. Maxim joined Kosta Legal shortly after its establishment in 2015 and has been advising a variety of firm’s local and international clients on corporate, competition, merger control, and regulatory matters. He has successfully represented the firm’s clients in a number of the country’s largest M&A and PPP transactions. The Legal 500 annually ranked Maxim as one of Uzbekistan’s most professional lawyers since 2017. In 2022, Maxim obtained a doctorate degree in competition law and the regulation of state-owned enterprises from the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK).

Maxim will lead the competition and regulatory practice of Kosta Legal and will advise clients on general competition, M&A, privatization, and public procurement matters as well as specific regulatory matters in chemicals, power energy, and oil and gas. We sincerely congratulate Maxim on his new position and believe that this promotion will significantly benefit the firm and our clients.
